Well, honestly I had every intention of upgrading my machine, until I joined this list. I don't mean to troll or be rude, but frankly I use my machine in a home office as a consultant, and after reading the litany of problems with OS X installs that I've seen here, I have held off until I have my other G3 up and running in my reconfigured office, as backup. I have enough headaches with my ISP's access software doing stupid things to my system from time to time. I need another OS headache like a family of raccoons in my basement. To answer your query on holding on to macs, well I mainly use mine as a typewriter, aside from Net browsing, so bigger better and faster isn't horribly relevant.
