Because I had a version of the Sims that ran on Classis, but I use classic mode in OSX, does that count :)

Let me also say that I have some old Macs laying around that I continue to use for various purposes that run old versions of the OS (in fact I have an LC running right now to clean up an external SCSI I sold to someone on the swap list). I do this because there is nothing wrong with the machines and they are still useful for some things, like kids games. So, don't bother replying with those type situations. I'm interested in main-machine usage only, not hobby machines or special purpose machines that still get used. These machines generally wouldn't fit in the "can run OS X" category anyway. After I have read all the initial round of responses, I will write one blanket reply and may quote from several emails. I want to understand why people even care whether or not Classic mode will still be available on the Intel Macs. I also want to understand why people tend to hang on to things as they are and often choose not to be in the stream of progress, always looking for better tools.
