If you find a solution to this, let me know. I have a Rev A Bondi that
does the same thing. All I have to do is type mac-boot and it boots fine,
but for some reason it always goes to open firmware instead of booting.
I'm pretty sure it reports the same error as you see.
While I'm at it, has anyone installed Tiger on a 333? I only have
the DVD's so I would probably have to do it over a network. Any
success with this? I am refurbishing this gem so the kids can have
their own 'puter and I really like the parental controls in tiger.
I do have Tiger running successfully on a 333 with 256 MB of ram. I did
the install by removing the hard drive and putting it in a firewire case,
and then installing from DVD on an iMac DV.
Why didn't you use XPostFacto?
