I have an iMac 333 here that I have Panther installed on...for some reason, the boot is failing...it goes to open firmware and I noticed at the top it reads ...

bootr unrecognized
boot failed

If I type reboot, it's fine. I've zapped PRAM and all the standards...it looks as if for some reason there's an "r" on the end of boot and that's what's hanging. Any idea how to change that? This is above me.

While I'm at it, has anyone installed Tiger on a 333? I only have the DVD's so I would probably have to do it over a network. Any success with this? I am refurbishing this gem so the kids can have their own 'puter and I really like the parental controls in tiger.

thanks.
