That shouldn't matter, though most drives I've run into lately are the  
1" third-height variety. IDE and EIDE are the same thing, by the era  
of the eMac.

Nope, because it WILL save your butt (or more precisely, your client's  
butt) sooner or later. The day (at 3PM)  it saved a $5Million grant  
application due at 5PM made all my money back and then some :-)

Updates are free, and it's a damned useful tool for the toolbox.
