I have a customer that created an alias. The alias includes all their email addresses, so if you send to that alias they all receive messages. This has apparently been working for them for quite some time.

They now complain that it doesn't work. I checked the logs and find the following (domain name changed to protect the innocent):

08:26 12:26 SMTPD(50de02ca00a267e2) [192.168.1.4] connect 207.67.38.31 port 6610 08:26 12:26 SMTPD(50de02ca00a267e2) [207.67.38.31] EHLO xtinmta02-31.exacttarget.com 08:26 12:26 SMTPD(50de02ca00a267e2) [207.67.38.31] MAIL FROM:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 08:26 12:26 SMTPD(50de02ca00a267e2) [207.67.38.31] RCPT TO:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 08:26 12:26 SMTPD(50de02ca00a267e2) denied remote access to C:\IMail\axxxx\allusers.lst (axxxx.com) 08:26 12:26 SMTPD(50de02ca00a267e2) [207.67.38.31] ERR mail.csimo.com invalid user <[EMAIL PROTECTED]

No permissions changes on the server recently.

Anyone have any ideas why the "denied remote access" is suddenly occuring?

Thanks,
Joe
