I agree, SORBS is definitely not something that I would ever use to do
straight rejects or deletes. It is better used with Spamassassin, Declude or
some other sort of weighted system. It's not that I consider their results
inaccurate. If anything, they are hyper-accurate. For example, if they see
"legitimate" spam coming from a specific Hotmail server, don't be shocked if
that specific Hotmail server is blacklisted. Obviously, most postmasters
don't want to block all e-mail coming from even one Hotmail server, but
having it listed may be just what is needed to push the score for a
particular e-mail from non-spam to spam levels.

There are enough other lists out there which are dependable enough for doing
straight rejects without the need for further tests (Spamhaus is an
excellent example). SORBS isn't trying to be one of those, nor do I believe
that they will claim that they are.
