Since you see it is in a "stopping" state, it
sounds as if there might be a killer message in the spool. Search the SMTP log
for "ERR 005" (without the quotes). If there is an entry like this take the
Process ID and search your spool directory for a file with that as part of the
name. Move these out of the spool directory. Then kill the queuemgr process and
restart the service.
