I've used Imail for many years now and it seems since queue manager became a service I have always had a problem with it falling asleep. I have no idea how to see log evidence or even find errors.
Mail gets backed up. I stop and start the queue manager service and it immediately starts processing mail. At times it will do this for a few minutes, then sleep again. If I watch it and keep restarting the service it will eventually process all my mail. I wish I had errors or logs to share, but for years this has been my only observance. I all up to date on my patches and I run this on win2003. Any ideas?
