Kevin,
Well, I use IMAP myself (leaves messages on the server) and every once in
while, I go to the 'account named folder' and click the sync button. This
checks for folders and messages and creates any folders it finds, and gets
all messages from the server. Not sure if this applies to a POP setup. If
messages are downloaded from the server, then there will be nothing left
(except new messages) to find. However, if the messages are left on the
server, I think one can delete the OE account then recreate it and it should
'get' all the mail.
Try Web MSG first to see if message is there. If it is not, then there is no
way to 'get' it. It has been deleted (by the client).
