Bill Doyle asked a good question the other day and no one responded.
In the Imail knowledge base.
http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/IM-20000117-DM01.htm The article basically
says that virtual domains without an IP address with an external database
will not work with SMTP Auth. The knowledge base gives no information on
how to set this up. We are starting to mix virtual hosts with IPs and those
with a shared IP ( did not know that was a problem). We use a SQL database.
Do we set up the virtual Hosts to just use the IMAIL user list and can we
mix that with the External SQL database?
Any help would be appreciated?
