In the services applet in W2K, make sure that all of the IMail services are
running as a user account with "rights to the network _and_ to the SQL
machine" as opposed to the default system account.

hi eric,
On the sql7 server, I create an account sqladmin and this is what the
services is running as. The SQL database is Imail, username=imail,
password=imail. Under the security, I created an account: Imail having
access to the Imail database.
Imail Administrator for the domain:
d:\Imail\ODBCUSER.dll
imailsecdb;uid=imail;pwd=imail
I don't really understand your comment about:
network _and_ to the SQL machine
thanks in advance.
