I have been having the same problems with Ucalgary.ca, so after seeing
others having the same problem i decided to call them. I talked to the Mail
admin and he said that we (i) am having problems because of DNS not configed
right. What there server does is a reverse DNS for ever incomming email
for there log files) if the server can not reverse Lookup your mail server,
then it does not allow the message though.
So i did a nslookup from a off site computer useing a different DNS server
and my mail server could not be resolved, by IP address. It worked by name
but for them it has to work by IP address also. I made so changes and will
let everyone know if this is the case.
Does anyone know if a good program to check if your DNS is correct.
