I believe it is required by an old outdated RFC somewhere (that ALL hosts have a 
reverse DNS, not just mail servers), but many mail servers do not have a reverse DNS 
entry.  There may be a few mail servers that reject mail coming from IPs that have no 
reverse DNS, but I haven't heard of any mail servers that actually do that.

You'll need to talk to your ISP to find out how to get the reverse DNS entry.
