Hello,
I've run into the error that mail is delivered to aol, but the aol
recipient never receives it when mail is sent via my new 6.02 server.
In other words..no error messages in the log. It completes successfully. On
my 5.0 server, we do not have this issue. Nor did i have it on my previous
6.02 server. Neither of those had pointer records.
There has been much discussion of this issue on the list...so I won't repeat
it all.
What i would like to know is, has someone found a definitive answer?
For example, there were some suggestions that pointer records were needed.
Did anyone add pointer records and this fixed the problem?
Another suggestion was it depended on the mail server you connected to at
aol..I'm waiting back for some results on that kind of test..but has anyone
found that to be the case?
Finally, are people noticing it is happening with just virtual domains or
also ip domains?
This is bugging me so much I am actually downloading aol now so i can do
further testing.
