yep, MX and A for both domain.com and mail.domain.com. You can't
really have "too many" A and MX records.

Still blak majik until AOL tells us clearly their criteria, as we
know with ORBS and MAPS.

this is equally effective, but I reallly doubt whether AOL reverse
the sender MTA's ip. If they did, why don't they reject the msg at
the gateway as they do for "unknown @senderdomain"?

I'm glad your OK with AOL, but we're not really sure what AOL's
criteria are for accepting/losing mail. I'm sure their lawyers won't
let them say what their criteria are.
