What would be good is a nobody alias with the option of sending a bounce
message as well... thus alerting both the sender and the postmaster. (I can
dream can't I)

| Most mail servers do not have a "nobody" alias, so that mail will
| bounce properly.

| The drawback to taking it away is that it would be possible for
| spammers to do a "dictionary attack" testing lots of potential
| E-mail addresses at your server to see if they are valid. That
| eats up your resources (bandwith + log files). It doesn't happen
| often unless you are specifically targeted by the spammer.
