Well, I guessed that already. :) I've never had to deal with SSL of this
nature (anytime I have, we've had a verisign cert and it's been for
ecommerce or whatever)...is there anyway to create one for IIS 5? Anyone?
:(

the problem is that your graphics are now being serverd from a non SSL
source. To fix it the server serving the graphics needs SSL installed.
SO
<IMG SRC="mail_new.gif"> would need to be changed to <IMG
SRC="https://www.example.com/images/mail_new.gif">

Hey, thanks for letting me know this. :) It works *great* in non-SSL mode.
However, in SSL mode, every single page comes up with a couple "This
contains both secure and non-secure items" message. Anyone have any ideas
on how to get rid of it? :)

First, you need to copy the .GIF files to IIS, and make sure that IIS can
serve them (you need to know the URL that they are at).
You will want to edit the \IMail\web\readmail.html file. Search for
".gif". Anywhere you see ".gif", you need to change the URL to the one at
IIS. For example, <IMG SRC="mail_new.gif"> might get changed to <IMG
SRC="http://www.example.com/images/mail_new.gif">.
