Is anyone at IPSwitch reading these?
It seems to me that they might have an interest in reading about the issues
important to their most active users, many of which *I believe* are
subscribed to this list (or should be)... And if they are paying attention,
and I do hope that they are, then why don't they post on here as well when
we voice concerns about the product.
Personally, I like imail, and I like the 3rd party products available for
imail integration. I like the fact that people who make those 3rd party
products are on this list helping users with imail. Overall, I am very
happy with the whole package.
I don't like the fact that we have to write to their tech support department
in order to get answers to some of the questions that we post here. I'm
relatively new in here, but there seems to be a trend. I know that if I
provided mail server software (or any software), and hosted a list for the
users of that software, I would monitor the list very carefully, and pay
attention to the voices of my customers.
At the very least I'd let them know that we were aware of the issues and
working on a resolution. Perhaps I missed that email if it has in fact been
sent.
That's my opinion, sorry for the rant, and the OT material-
