No, it doesn't matter.  You can use any DNS server there, just so long as 
it is a real DNS server (not an internal DNS server that returns private 
IPs) and will answer all queries from the IMail server (not just domains 
that it is authoritative for).

That won't matter for outgoing mail (although at first glance it appears OK).

That's correct.  Having the PTR record can help, and can't hurt.
