I wish I could get away from hard coded IP's, but when opening a connection
via SQL and ASP, you need the IP #. Is there another way to do this? I
have always been told the IP is what I should use.

||I don't have a find/replace applet but after you finish I have
||three letters
||for you...
||
||      DNS.    :-))
||
||Being a coder myself, I have done this before. I have learned to never,
||never use a specific IP address in code. Its kinda like using the ordinal
||column positions of recordset. When you need to change it, there
||are always
||more uses of it than you thought when you started and it gets very
||cumbersome to change.

||
||
||Sorry for the off topic everyone!
||
||Does anyone know of a program that will find and replace text in multiple
||files within a directory that will work on an NT Server? We are being
||forced to change or IP Addresses this afternoon and need to do a
||global find
||and replace of some IP Addresses that are embedded in some ASP code.
||
||Please reply directly to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
||
||Thanks!
