Hi, I recently got rid of IMail for the lack of support when dealing with attachments.
1) Attachments with spaces in the file name become corrupt 2) A user can not add an attachment if their attachment upload has been interupted... a tmp file gets created , and the server admin must stop the service, delete the file, then start the service again before the user can attach files. ---------- Original Message ---------------------------------- From: "Devaprasad Kantharaj" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Thu, 8 Nov 2001 17:31:58 -0500 >I have written here before and everyone seems to be quiet about this, so I ask again... > >Why are most e-mail attachments when using webmail corrupted and are fine when using a standard e-mail client like Eudora? Is this a documented problem? We purchased this software because of the webmail feature, otherwise we were perfectly happy with our old e- mail server software. I have people waiting for deployment, yet I can;t give it to them, because they will be sending and receiving attachments frequently.
