It's not just corrupting filenames with spaces. We have had numerous
intermittent problems with any filename and any filetype.. Even viewing an
html attachment for job resumes get screwed up. (in other words applicants
names and info get mixed together when viewing or saving attachments from
web mail).Try setting up interviews when you can't even get the name right.
It's not just our server either I've setup numerous servers with the same
results.
I spoke with Nikki Holt (sorry, I'm p'd off enough to mention names) from
Ipswitch tech support and she tested it on our server and confirmed this
problem. I still have not heard anything back from them even after I set up
a test account and she assured me that they would get back to me.
As far as I'm concerned the best part of wasting my money on Imail was
finding out about Len's IMgate. :) Works great other than Osirus going
crazy.
Anyone have a good suggestion on a relatively good (and not too expensive)
mail program that does web based mail?
Sorry about the rant I'm just getting really irritated. I would have rather
given the money I spent on Imail to someone who needs it then wasting it on
something that doesn't work. At the least Ipswitch could post something on
their sight saying that they are working on the problem as opposed to acting
like it doesn't exist.
Thanks,
Alex Artigues
