I tried this with unsuccessful results after 3 weeks. Problem with this port 25 thing

Has anyone had success installing Norton Anti-Virus for Gateways and Imail
on the same box?  Is this even possible considering that Imail can only be
configured to send and receive SMTP traffic on a single port?

You can set up IMail to receive mail on a different port -- go to http://support.ipswitch.com and search for "port" and one of the top results will explain how to do it.

IMail can't send mail to a different port, since that shouldn't be necessary -- all mail servers that accept mail from the "real world" (not just from a local server) will use port 25 to receive mail.
