I use Outlook personnally and often switch back & forth, sometimes leaving
messages on my Imail server (other times not). I have not experienced the
duplicate mail problem.

Can anyone suggest an alternative to Outlook as a mail client? Or does
anyone know of a way to get Outlook to leave messages on the server without
getting duplicates? Is this an issue that can be resolved by beefing up my
mail server so that it handles the index files on the server?

We're running v6.06 with some users (including myself) on OE. Leaving mail
worked fine for months then all of a sudden we started getting duplicated
messages. Never got it resolved, just had to stop leaving mail on server.
