Look at the log, sys0305.txt, or something like that, on your old server,
and look for the trying to send to your new server.
Try to telnet port 25 on the new server, and look for wich is responding
you (maybe Microsoft SMTP from IIS?)
Try to send a mail by telnet on your new server Ipswitch KB
IM-19991021-DM01, don't forget to add : on the MAIL FROM:, and on the RCPT
TO:, (on this KB puts MAIL FROM and RCPT TO without the :).
Have you changed the DNS, as I believe the two machines don't have the
same IP address?
Hope this helps

Subject: [IMail Forum] PLEASE HELP
I have setup and tested my Imail server that I said I was goign to install
earlier, only one problem. I set up only 2 domains to test with from the
orginal Imail server, I have disabled the ipaddress and the removed the
domains from the original Imail server.
With the new server I can send to everywhere but the original Imail server
(it can send to itself), they get hung in the spool. (tested with my hotmail
account and another account i have on the orignal server.
I can not send from anywhere to the new Imail sever (get hung in spool).
It seemd that I can send sort of and not receive at all due to the e-mails
getting hung in the spool, could anyone shed some light on this?
thanks alot!
J.R.
