Hello
everyone,
I have a question about SMTP
auth. Is their a way to utilize SMTP auth for sending mail conditionally,
like:
If you a user attempts
to use the SMTP server Imail first checks relay mail for addresses and if
the IP is not include in that list it gives the auth
challenge.
I am introducing many new
users to our server (enough IP blocks that it would be absurd to relay for
all of them) but I am trying to avoid having to go back to my current
customer base and reconfigure everyone's mail client with a outgoing
user/pass.
If anyone has any thoughts on my
predicament I would appreciate insight,
Thanks,
Gabe
