Looks like you guys are on 2 different pages...Disable SMTP VRFY should be checked except in special circumstances like Peering where it is needed. On the other hand the Disable SMTP Auth Reporting should not be checked unless you want to disable any mail clients that look for the capability before trying to send SMTP auth credentials.
