Hi, Brenda, Some assorted thoughts from my direction: I've been working for my current company since August and in this time I've only had 2 issues with iMail, the one that I describe below and another one which is completely a cosmetic issue in the IMail interface. That's really not a lot to complain about. You also have to keep in mind that I am using a version of IMail which is a whole version number older than their current version so any issues which you hear about with older versions could be completely obsolete by now.
Ipswitch has good Karma with me because I've used WS-FTP regularly and liked it. I've used What's Up Gold in the past and liked it and now I use IMail. Compared to the other companies and software products that I've used in the past they're in the top tier. I think it's possible to write bug-free code but one will never find bug-free code in the real world because of the pressures between time, money and quality. If you are looking for a bug-free mail server software you will never find it. If I was starting from scratch in looking for a mail server product I might eventually end up on IMail but I also know of a lot of other good, reasonably-priced mail server solutions so I can't 100% for sure say that it would be my final choice. More than anything you just need to research all of the solutions and then start weeding them out based on your price range, company reputation, support options, supported platforms, etc. It sounds like you are doing the right thing by subscribing to this list.
