Excuse my ignorance, I'm new to the list.

Welcome. :)

I've just upgraded to Imail 8.01 and use virtual hosts for all of our
clients. The manual is a bit vague when it comes to explaining whether
virtual hosts use the anti-spam features of version 8, all it says is that
you don't get the Anti-spam folder for each virtual host.

Can someone clarify this?

For virtual domains, IMail v8's per-domain anti-spam settings are the same as for the master host for the IP the virtual domain uses (Declude JunkMail does not have this restriction). However, there is a workaround, by adding the X-RBL-Warning: header, and setting up a filter for the domain to take an action based on the header.
