As someone mentioned about Trustic in another thread, the spam databases that IMail comes with by default list yahoo.com and nail any mail from it as such. As my rules authorship is very much in question considering some of the internal loops I have created, is there a way to tell IMAil a to ignore any negative results for an email from yahoo.com via the external databases? The whitelist only applies to content filters - and you cannot change the pecking order to whitelist it first before it hits the spam databases. Of course, if a word hit the content filters, it would nail it there provided it was not a whitelisted yahoo.com address. I realize some administrators would not open up yahoo.com, but if I want to take that chance, I am wondering what the rule IMail rule would be - if even possible.
And suggestion for new versions would be able to change processing order for spam if need be. And as I saw in my brief test, trustic has no guard condition to exclude Big ISPs. I saw it blocking AOL, yahoo, and msn outbound relays, which is never justifiable.
