A bit off-topic perhaps, but pressure from above is forcing me to evaluate other email servers against IMail and I was wondering if anyone has suggestions or could point me in the right direction for the best (or proper) way to stress-test these alternatives.  I'm most interested in SMTP & IMAP performance, not so much with POP3 or webmail.  I'd also be curious to see how IMail stacks up against some of its competition.   Maybe some of these comparison results have already been posted somewhere?   Thanks for any insight! I now have the best of both worlds: A kickass SMTP server that returns a proper errors when mail doesn't get delivered so you know what the problem is, easy use of RBLs, easy blocking of bad guys with an error that tells the user on the other end why his mail was rejected and a simple to admin POP3 server.
