Yes, that was specific to this particular situation, I didn't realize
other people would apply the situation to themselves.  At any rate, if
that is the case it is good you clarified everything for them.

BIND, even without customization, is still designed for use by the
general pubic.  It is the most used DNS server in existence.  It is
also not a "commercial" solution in the respect that it costs money
for the software.  You do not have to run commercial DNS software.  I
would hate for people to be misinformed about that.  Anyone can run
BIND without having to shell out a bunch of money to some company to
buy their DNS software.  However, if some people insist on spending
money for a DNS solution I would recommend running BIND with a
management interface such as Men & Mice (http://www.menandmice.com/).
