This is a common misconception among lots of computer folks. They toot their
own horn because they can use UNIX or Linux and they think that since
Windows 2003 server is easier to use, that it is inferior. I attended a MS
event yesterday and they addressed many valid security things. Just because
something has a poor interface does not mean it is superior or bulletproof.

First, the newer software Microsoft has released has had 4 security updates
vs. 18 during the same time period of the previous software Windows 2000.
It's becoming apparent that all software has vulnerabilities because it is
made by humans for humans. I believe Microsoft has the resources to respond
the fastest once they get the rest of the plan executed next year for
security update rollouts.

Next year brings many changes including one Update page for ALL Microsoft
Products. It will scan for office updates, os, etc etc.

One other thing, you don't necessarily needs skills, we can pay someone like
you to do our dirty work.
