Yeah, np... The repeatedly ignored message was an issue to do with localisation settings in Windows 2000. Even though the Administrator account is set to use UK date and time formats, it seems that the account which the web-mail runs under had defaulted to US-style mm/dd/yyyy. I eventually found the solution by myself, looking through the MS knowledgebase. Due to a certain US law, I need to consider carefully what evidence I post about the DoS issue in a semi-public forum. If you search back through one of the list archives, you'll find a previous thread about an SMTP 'RCPT TO:' issue - which some people kindly replied to. I dropped the issue at the time, but about 2 months later it surfaced again, and I had to put a full-time member of staff onto handling the situation for a number of weeks. I'm not trying to be evasive here.
