What about installation of a pHp based webmail client with POP3 access to the IIS POP3 server on the same machine. I realize this would require some place (db, etc.) to store the retrieved messages or some cgi sleight of hand to provide read/write access to the IIS message store. Just tossing out "food for thought". Haven't looked at it, probably won't for reasons stated in another message in this therad. Licensing is too strict. A less expensive, more expandable, web server + OS can be installed just as easily. Something that doesn't have to be thrown in the refuse bin if you decide to expand server functionality.
