I use 5 and if it hits on 3 then drop carrier.. I have to agree in the philosophy though (except the part about 5xx'n the sender) and even yours John.. But why even except the trash in the first place. I wish there was a rDNS/BL established somewhere on the planet that would allow web browsers clients to bang against 1st prior to accessing web sites. Hmmm.. There's a thought..
