I am new to IMail and have the latest version. I hooked up four blacklists for the antispam feature. We still get lots of spam and this message we get often. Spamcop is one of the lists that we have hooked up. Any ideas?
The problem is that you don't have enough information to properly block the E-mail:
From: "Jean Lancaster" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, February 23, 2004 9:21 AM Subject: cialis - Order Meds From Home Now
> Date: Tue, 24 Feb 2004 02:08:54 +0600 > MIME-Version: 1.0 > Content-Type: multipart/alternative; > boundary="--71986266027369518804" > X-Webmail-Time: Mon, 23 Feb 2004 18:05:54 -0200 > X-IMAIL-SPAM-DNSBL: (SpamCop,65274268,127.0.0.2) > X-RCPT-TO: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Status: U > X-UIDL: 376184507
You really need the full E-mail headers, including the most important header: the top Received: header.
However, we found that this particular spammer has spamware that fits the profile of many other spamware programs, and can easily be caught when code is written to detect it (as is the case with our CMDSPACE test). This would, however, need to be handled with an addon to IMail.
