Mike, I'm contemplating on trying out the IMGate solution, but I think I
remember hearing Scott Perry mention something about a stand-alone version
of Declude which hopefully may be able to do the same envelope rejection.
If that does happen soon and the price is reasonable, I'd rather go that
route.

I'm sure there is no doubt that the IMGate is a tried and true solution. But
I'm not comfortable with "knowing enough to get by". Course I at one point I
"knew enough to get by" on windows too!

Y'all have a good weekend. Over-and-Out...

I can attest to the IMgate solution. I primarily run Windows and Imail with
Declude Junkmail but use IMgate on FreeBSD for MX traffic.

I am not nix savvy by any means but know enough to get the job done. And it
didn't cost me a penny as I recycled an old Dual PII 233Mhz server to run
IMgate. By shutting off the spam at the envelope level it really saves on
horsepower and bandwidth. Heck I even run the KDE gui desktop on it to ease
some file editing chores.

FreeBSD is industry standard software as is Postfix (the underlying mx
engine) IMGate is just a set of config files for postfix that helps you get
started. Len will send them for free and has a list to help also.

Mike
