As far as The Bat! being a spammer tool, I don't know. It's a pretty
decent email client. I use it to retrieve all the email from my spam-traps
and browse through it for false-positives... I was previously doing it with
Outlook, but Outlook is a total pig! 'The Bat!' handles the load, runs
fast, and with the configurable filters can pretty much do whatever Outlook
could. System restore is in fact shut off but I have not run the removal
tool from safe-mode. I'll give that a shot.

Going to reboot into safe-mode and try the removal tool again.

Thanks!
Sam

Isn't "The Bat" a spammer tool?

Did you turn off the system restore and run the removal tool from "safe
mode"?
