I have seen this intermittantly with a few of our users. Some things that may work, they do not always work.
Try clearing out the temp files in the spool\web folder also look for a temporary file in the users mailbox folder and delete that. Make shure his browser is defined in the browser.cap file or in the registry depending on the version of imail you are running.
