Dear Jill Jones; After looking at the new IMail Suite options on your website, comparing the pricing and looking at our budget for the next year, we will now make the investment in a Linux machine and an open-source product, abandoning IMail altogether.
We will NOT be purchasing any additional products from you and neither will we be renewing our maintenance agreement. Over the past year your level of customer service has dropped to record lows with your failure to return customer e-mail requests and telephone calls. By purchasing some additional hardware, a unix based operating system and an open-source, user supported product, we will eliminate the annual maintenance fees and licensing subscriptions and, most likely, have a much more scalable, stable and secure product. Our security person, Jason, is an ex air-force intelligence officer, who spent more than 10 years at the Pentagon, and several additional years in the banking industry. He was always chastising me about having to keep additional ports open on our hardware and software firewalls for the web interface and the calendar. Once we make the transition to a unix based product, we will be will able to close those security loopholes forever. Needless to say, he is overjoyed with our decision to abandon your IMail product. You had a great product. Too bad you had ignore your installed base of customers and screw up the features and the pricing.
