Since IMGate is a postfix installation just configure it to accept connections on the submissions port (port 587)
imo, the only port 587 service that makes any sense is one that rejects all mail if no SMTP AUTH. If port 587 is wide open the way port 25 is, it is just another spammer sink, needing full anti-spam/AV just like port 25.
port 587 requiring SMTP AUTH needs no anti-spam defense. (Imail can't do this. Re-directing port 587 to port 25 is just port 25 service)
