Is this wrong? I don't think so.
I think Ipswitch should explicitly state on the download page that your contact information will be shared with their partners. They should also prove way for you to check that you do not wish for your contact information to be shared. As far as I'm concerned, contacts made without that sort of notice constitute spam. Someone that provides email products should be more sensitive in this area.
