I agree with Alex: source does not belong on objects for an import project. When researching how an object was created, the changeset comment is easily available for the entire history. The changeset comment is sufficient to credit the source and point to the imports page.
(I still don't know if I should delete the source tag - I have edits on objects that say 'source=yahoo', which makes no sense in today's world and especially on objects which were split or combined).
