Don, I provided the test bed for Klint, as my network could consistantly get smtprcv to fail. I handle around 300,000 emails per day through the server.
Under that load, smtprcv would typically fail within 20 minutes. Klint moved the development code from the betas I was running to the current RC that a few others are running when we got to a point that I no longer saw any failures. -Alan >Please define "heavy loads." > >I've had "install SMTPRCV" on my TODO list for a couple of years now and >just when I think I may actually get to it, I start to see posts that imply >it's not stable. > >So I'm waiting for the new version but I'm curious under what level of loads >it starts failing. > >Thanks, > >Don DeCosta This is the discussion list for the IMS Free email server software.
