I hope it's real soon. When I returned from vacation, I discovered that
SMPTRCV was hung such that it was not processing any mail, it couldn't be
stopped via either "net stop" or the services manager, and it couldn't be
restarted either. Needless to say, we weren't getting any mail. (My backup
didn't notice the problem because he couldn't get any mail from the system;
TF was blocking all of his attempts to send test messages because the
messages only included his signature lines, which looked like gibberish to
TF).
After rebooting everything, I managed to get the mail from the secondary (4
hours before it was going to return everything to sender).
I'm really looking forward to a stable SMPTRCV!
