Greetings all!

I am in the proces of moving a few of my customers off of my IMS
server and onto a linux based server (zmailer + qpopper). The linux
server uses the linux standard method of keeping all messages for
any given user in a single file (mbox format), rather than each
message being its own file (maildir format) like IMS does.

Most of these users have multiple messages still in their IMS inbox.
So, my question...

Does anyone happen to know of a means to move messages from
an IMS inbox out to a different server in mbox format? I would
imagin that the easiest method would be to somehow remail the
messages in the inbox to the new server via smtp, and let the new
server assemble them into the users queue.

I guess I could write some software to read each message in a
given inbox, creat a new .rcp file for each message based on the
messages' headers (or the name of the inbox), then move the
paired files back to the IMS incomming folder.

Anyway, any feedback would be appreciated from any of you that
might have moved messages between MTAs before.

Thanks,
-Alan
