Hi ,

This is one point I totally agree , India needs to grow Chinese way and not
Europe or US way where premium support is expensive (most of our educated
people believe in american model instead of our asian neighbour about who
people just know that they only produce cheap stuff which is true but not
the full truth)

China is a price market too , people do pay a huge premium for products but
dont pay huge premium for service .

This is not great business sense ?

but because of scale in countries like India you can still make very
handsome profits if you keep your operating margins low .

I am trying this model right now by selling on ebay cheapest all over India
, for some products but because we are trying something that people are not
familiar with in India so we have another branding challenge to solve where
people really trust us that despite being cheap we are not selling bad
products.

http://www.ebay.in/itm/APPLE-MACBOOK-PRO-UNIBODY-13-3-FRONT-LCD-SCREEN-GLASS-A1278-A1342/181205826491?ssPageName=WDVW&rd=1&ih=008&category=95393&cmd=ViewItem#ht_2463wt_1293

http://www.ebay.in/itm/Mini-MicroSD-TF-Metal-Card-Reader-in-Pen-Drive-Shape/181212059970?ssPageName=WDVW&rd=1&ih=008&category=43448&cmd=ViewItem#ht_3425wt_1293

http://www.ebay.in/itm/HIGH-QUALITY-RED-CYAN-BLUE-ANAGLYPH-3D-PLASTIC-GLASSES-/181215487957?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_203&hash=item2a3148e7d5&_uhb=1#ht_2704wt_1293

On each of the products above we have cheapest pan India price we could
even list original apple adaptors and other stuff cheapest but we thought
lets us list cheaper products like 3d glasses , card readers which people
will give us a chance and when they try us they will know we really are
selling excellent products with great service and still cheapest and then
go to list premium products.

How much this model succeeds I dont know yet too , we are not too big a
company to make a statement as yet and change Indian business environment
but

if companies like Apple /Toyota and such large cos these guys drive this
message India will have a different business environment where things will
get automatically disciplined .

So it really is a great point Harpal Seth ji ++++ from my side.

Regards
Nik
