If you want OpenSolaris to adopt a new input method, you should be 
discussing it on the relevant lists here and addressing it to the 
community, not Sun.  I have never known project members in the community 
(regardless of who they work for) to reject well-presented and 
reasonably worded suggestions.

Perhaps a different approach would better suited to accomplishing your 
goals?
